NDNP 810 - DNP Project Identification
Module 1: Mobilize the DNP Project
DNP PROJECT COURSES
There are 4 DNP project courses in the UMSON program:
- NDNP 810 DNP Project Identification is the first project course in which students examine the evidence to support a project and begin to write the proposal. This course is only offered in the Spring semester.
- NDNP 811 DNP Project Development is the second course in which students finish writing a proposal, plan a presentation of a proposal, and submit a proposal to the Institutional Review Board. This course is offered in the Summer semester
- NDNP 812 DNP Project Implementation is the third course in which students implement a project. This course is always offered in the Fall semester. All of the implementation of the project must be done in this 14-week semester, including the collection of all evaluation data for the project. Students receive 45 practicum hours for implementing a project
- NDNP 813 DNP Project Evaluation and Dissemination is the fourth course in which students evaluate the data collected the previous semester and write up a final report and give a formal presentation of their project findings. This course is offered in the Spring semester. Students receive 45 practicum hours for evaluating data and writing the final report and presenting it.
