Module 1: The Teaching Process

Module 1 focuses on developing an understanding of teaching and the characteristics of 'good' teaching. The components of evaluating teaching will also be discussed.

Objectives

After completing this module, the learner will:

• compare various definitions of teaching.
• compare and contrast themes found in the literature about teaching.
• describe various components of evaluating teaching.
