Overview

This module will be covering the following content:

  • Specific roles of Informatics Nurse Specialists (INS): definition of INS, scope and standards of practice
  • Informatics Competencies for the INS and nursing staff

Objectives

At the conclusion of this module, the learner will be able to:

  • Discuss different functions and roles of the Informatics Nurse Specialist.
  • Develop informatics competency in her/his practice setting(s).
