Overview

Welcome to Public Health Nursing! The first two weeks of the course cover foundational concepts of public health nursing. This first module gives a brief history of public health nursing, and then presents a few of the major concepts that comprise the foundation of public health nursing. Topics covered in this module include the core functions of public health, interventions used in public health nursing, and the three levels of disease prevention.
