Module 3: Climate Change and Health I
Overview
The influence of climate and weather on human health are varied and significant. In these next 3 modules we will examine the various pathways and climate drivers that impact the health of people and which populations are most at risk for each, now and in the future.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this module, the learner will be able to:
- Explain the framework for Climate Change and Health Impacts report
- Discuss ways that extreme temperature is related to poor health outcomes
- Describe the impact of air quality on health outcomes
- Relate how extreme weather events impact human health
