Module 2:HRPO Submission Process
Overview
All student DNP projects must be submitted to the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) Human Research Protections Office (HRPO) through their online submission portal (CICERO) for a Non-Human Subject Research (NHSR) determination. In this web conferencing session, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the HRPO submission process.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this module, the learner will be able to:
- Develop an application for a quality improvement project for a NHSR determination and submit it to the HRPO through a CICERO account. Required Readings

- Read the module.
- Come to the scheduled Blackboard Collaborate session with prepared questions regarding:
- your project summary, and preparing your data collection forms and data management spreadsheet, and
- submitting an HRPO application for a NHSR determination.
